ABOUT ME

I started playing pipes at 11 years old.  I played in the local band and competed in junior competitions.  On leaving school I spent several years in the Royal Air Force stationed at home and abroad, and my piping services were often requested. Over the years I have played in festivals both at home and overseas and can regularly be seen at Highland Games playing for the dancing competitions.  Some of my honours include playing for the Princess Royal at Glamis, playing in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast and at weddings in France.

I was a founder member of Celtic rock band Makinadin, with whom I recorded a CD.  I have a diverse repertoire from traditional to contemporary and even rock/pop.  I am conscientious and reliable and have a professional approach at all times.  Whatever your requirements are I will do my best to accommodate them.
